MIAMI - Experts believe a meteor was visible along a large section of the Florida skyline Thursday night, although NASA officials have not confirmed what the intensely bright, fast object exactly was.

    I and several others witnessed a grouping of five bright lights over the NW FL sky Mon, 7 Nov ‘05. The five took up and held a “W” formation for approx 5 mins before breaking away one at a time and vanishing w/in 2-4 seconds each. Checked w/military sources, and no milair was operating at time of sighting (1840-1850L) over the Eglin Military Reservation in NW FL.
